As Samantha Jones once said, “Is Hermès French for we take our fooking time?”, we guess the answer is yes. As it’s only now that those orange box-loving Frenchies have rsvp-ed to our ddg online shopping party. And it’s not like we didn’t give them notice. We even sent them a reminder on Facebook. But better late than never we guess.
And don’t worry, it’s not just a place to put your name down for the Birkin bag waitlist (with a link to a remortgaging company), there are also one or two gorgeous items that cost less than a month’s rent. Hurray!

Apparently we aren't the only ones who have been frantically searching Sportsgirl stores for that necklace from their current advertising campaign. So we were over the moon to spy the very neckpiece, which has been playing hard to get with us for these last few weeks, is now available online. I'd get clicking quick smart though. With the amount of buzz surrounding this over-sized beauty, it'll be back off the market quicker than a straight bloke in Sydney.

If it’s good enough for Nicole Richie, then the maxi-kaftan is good enough for us. Why super skinny Nicole chose to hide her tiny frame under meters of fabric we have no idea. Why we are choosing to hide our less tiny frames is, according to our personal trainers, slightly too obvious.

It seems one of the great romances of our time is finally kaput. We are of course referring to the break-up of Hef and Holly (and Hef and Kendra…. and Hef and Bridgette… and us and MTV) Which strangely has caused an office wide urge to wear pink, and lots of it. So you can imagine our excitement upon spying these not-as-tacky-as-they-could-have-been hot pink heels. They are the perfect finishing touch to any summer nights outfit (bunny ears are of course optional!).

Summer = colour. Yes? Apparently not. According to the crafty kids at TheGrandSocial.com.au summer = black, and lots of it. Today they are releasing a very limited collection (only 8 pieces are available of each design) of essential summer pieces by brands like Ruby Smallbone, Zoemou, GRAZ, myPetsQuare, Oscar & Elvis and Deadly Ponies, only all in black. Strange? Yes. Genius? Definitely!

The invitation to the ARIAs clearly got lost in the mail, and we're still sooooo not speaking to Nicole after the whole plus one mix-up at the Oscars. But while we sit and wait, and maybe sulk a little about our lack of red carpet action this year, the lovely people at Stila have put together this truly A-list goodie-bag worthy palette so when Keith, Hugh or Russell do eventually decide to let us tag along, we'll be more than prepared!
