Ten or so years ago, the blazer was basically the bane of your existence. Didn’t wear it at the right time, detention. Did wear it at the wrong time, detention. Had the wrong amount of buttons done up while wearing it at the right time while displaying insufficient amounts of school spirit, detention!
Now it seems we’ve come full circle and basically you can do no wrong when it comes to wearing blazers. Floral, sequined, block-coloured, satin and now lace. The options are endless (and very colourful), what a shame Topshop didn’t deliver down under all those years ago, or high school might have been a very different place.

As you’re slowly getting up the courage to de-fuzz, re-tan and generally bare more skin, we think it’s time you put some serious thought into the very important subject of skirts! This season the tulip is back, but it’s less puffy and more petal-like, the new goth is pretty huge as well (thank you Twilight), while florals are a whole lot tougher. And as mini skirts refuse to go away and die why not embrace them with bold colours and a bit of a frill. Someone hand us the Nair!
